Dr. Sohaib Shahid is an economic adviser and consultant. With over a decade of experience, he has held key positions at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, D.C. At the IMF, Dr. Shahid joined the Saudi Arabia team in 2016—the year Saudi Vision 2030 was unveiled—and was also part of the IMF’s G20 Saudi Advisory Group. In addition to his focus on Saudi Arabia, he has worked extensively on the economies of other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
