Engr. Majid M. Refae is a respected Saudi business leader with over 22 years of experience in the energy, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. He is currently the Chairman of Massarat Consulting and the Saudi Polytechnic Institute of Renewable Energy, where he drives national initiatives that strengthen Saudi Arabia’s industrial and renewable energy capabilities.
He has previously held senior leadership roles, including General Manager of Manufacturing Operations at Ajlan & Bros Holding and CEO of Manufacturing & Contracting at Desert Technologies Industries, leading large-scale transformation and innovation projects. Earlier, as Vice President of Energy at SAMI (Advanced Electronics Company), he contributed to major national infrastructure and technology programs.
Engr. Majid holds a Master’s in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, with executive training from London Business School and INSEAD. A certified consultant and active board advisor, he is known for his strategic vision, strong leadership, and commitment to sustainable industrial growth.
He is Fellow Chartered Accountant from India and CPA from US. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India. He is also trained in FX, Hedging & Derivatives by Euro Money London.
For his distinguished work, he has been awarded the prestigious Global CFO excellence award for Best Real Estate CFO (UAE) and Best Corporate Turnaround CFO (MiddleEast).
He is also a regular speaker in several Regional /Global financial and restructuring conferences.
